Gen Con 2008 in pictures

Finally I've got over the jet lag and catching up of 'real' work,
so here is some of Gen-Con Indy in pictures.
Many thanks to Marc and MOOSE who supplied all the better shots!

Here is the team at the stand Laura and Garath Skarka, Angus wrapped around Chris and me
(with Marc taking the photo, which we let him do between demos and eating/sleeping :-)
Feel the love that is Cubicle 7!

As this is quite a long one, you can see more behind the cut

As always, Gerald Mouse came along.
We were very glad to finally get copies of Victoriana on day 2, but luckily Starblazer Adventures was going so well it wasn't too much of a disaster!

Starblazer Adventures did really well.
In fact, some people travelled a long way just to pick up a copy!

Here is the view we had of Gen-Con.
Not (I hasten to add) Laura's back, but the long red carpet ahead.

Somewhere down there on the right were the guys of the mighty Pelgrane Press.
While Simon was away I did get a photo of Sasha with Robin Laws and Ken Hite.
If you havn't read their 'Trail of Cthulu', shame on you!

Sadly, much further away were the guys of Exile Games in their mighty Gazebo.
However we did manage to pass by now and again to visit Jeff and the team.
Like us, Fred Hicks is also avoiding work at the Forge booth, but thats what Gen-Con is all about!

As I'd missed her at the Exile stand (we kept deciding to visit each other at the same time, thus missed each other more often than not) Melissa came over with a new freind for Mouse.
Mouse always likes to meet new people, but the needles and Voodoo action were a little too disturbing for him!

There was actually a lot of fur action at Gen-Con this year (Hmm, maybe I should rephrase that...).
John Wick came over to pick up a copy of Victoriana and brought a bear of his own.
OMG, John Wick wanted my game! So I was more than happy to swap for his "Houses of the Blooded" which is a stunning piece of work.
If you can find a copy (they sell out quickly) grab one while you can, you'll not be disapointed.

Actually, Bear made a load of new friends.
This Steampunk couple were some of the many Steampunkers at the con.

As was this gentleman, who showed Mouse his handy 'brain in a jar'

Costume not only looks great, but is also very helpful for marketing the right game for the right person!

A little exhausted with all the socialising, Mouse went off to explore.
He took a look at Desolation by Greymalkin

But he forgot how big Gen-Con is, and was soon lost

Luckily, an encounter with an idol at the Exile stand showed him the way home.

Where we had already finished packing up for another year.

Thats it for another year.
