Dark Harvest [Oct. 12th, 2010|07:00 pm]

corone
Cubicle 7 is going to be publishing another game using the Victoriana system called Dark Harvest.

However, Dark Harvest is more than a game, its a facinating mixture of game setting, short stories and rules mechanics that allow you to enjoy it as a novel or as a fully playable RPG.
Dark Harvest is set in the early part of the 19th century and concerns the newly created domain of Promethea, a horrifying country where the nobles harvest the peasantry so they might augment and replace their own ailing bodies.

As we are using the Heresy Engine for the book, there will be an array of new traits and strange biochemical augmentations you can add to your own Victoriana campaign.

The new website contains a wealth on information and is found here:

The real Victoriana [Oct. 11th, 2010|12:45 pm]

corone
One of our writers found a fabulous selection of photos from the 1860s on Flickr.
Given Victoriana is set in 1867 its a facinating slice of life (even if we advanced the Victoriana costume timeline to the early 1870s)
You can take a look at them here:

Faces in the Smoke Volume 2 [Sep. 23rd, 2010|09:11 pm]

corone
Our next release for Victoriana has hit the pdf stores,
and should be appearing shortly in hardcopy in games stores too.

Faces in the Smoke volume 2 'Shadows and Steel' carries on where Volume 1 left off,
with an array of more active groups who take to the streets to pursue their aggenda.
These groups range from the noble Adventureer's Society, to the dishonoured wyvern riders of the Phoenix Squadron to the mysterious assasins called The Deceivers.
The book reprints the detail on creating organisations from volume 1 and also contains a section on creating street gangs in your campaign.

Following Faces in the Smoke will be our India sourcebook 'Jewel of the Empire' later this year.

Victoriana and Starblazer Adventures in Previews Magazine! [May. 22nd, 2009|02:24 pm]

[Current Location |Cubicle 7 HQ]

The May 2009 Edition of Previews (Issue #248) is soliciting our two July releases!

They are on Page 423 in the Games section of the magazine.

Victoriana 2nd Edition and Starblazer Adventures are both due for retail release in July and are the launch of our new monthly release schedule (more news of that to follow in about a week). Previews is a magazine I've been getting for many, many years as it THE source for all the hot new comics (both major and indie publishers), games, t-shirts, action figures and everything else comics/games orientated. I've found many a good, obscure, comic title it it's hallowed pages over the years so it brought a big smile to my face to finally see titles that I'm involved with gracing its pages.
I was bouncing so much I even bounced to the other side of the office and scanned the page with our books in so I can show you all!

(Sorry, for some reason I can't uplaod a bigger image of the page at present...)

Both books are now available to pre-order through comic and games stores everywhere!
